The USFS just announced two new campsites have been developed on Lake One; SW corner of section 15 and north central area of section 22. See fisher map #F31 cutout below.
September into October is a great time to visit and travel the Boundary Waters. there a fewer people, Few if any bugs and the fishing is good. start your mornings off in your jacket and be in shirt sleeves by afternoon. We are also coming up to the most colorful time in northern Minnesota with maples, oak, birch and ash trees changing colors.
