The USFS just released this information:
The fire restriction order for the east side of the BWCA has been lifted.
The closure order
for South Arm will be lifted at 7:00 p.m. August 30, 2013. All campsites,
portages, and waterways on the South Arm will be open at this time.
The area received about 2 inches of rain yesterday.
